SUMMARY:
Built in 1882 by James Fleming (mayor of “South Denver”), the rhyolite stone mansion has served many functions including: private residence, city hall, jail, women’s clubhouse, public library, and senior rec center. The mansion is listed on the National Historic Registry and work was completed with funding from the State Historic Grants.
Scope of Work included Selective demo, mortar & pointing, brick and stone masonry, rough carpentry/finish carpentry, flashing and sheet metal, window and door rehabilitation, gyp board, tiling, painting, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical.
