SUMMARY:

Historic Restoration of the Original Stockyard Exchange Building on the National Western Complex in Denver, Colorado. The Livestock Exchange Building consists of three buildings with Building B being built in 1898, Building A built in 1916 and Building C in 1919.

Spectrum's scope include the interior renovation of Building A, which is the four story masonry building with steel structure on the National Historic Registry, including major electrical service improvements and lighting throughout the building, new VRF mechanical system, new plumbing throughout including placement of existing sewer lines and domestic service lines, new grease interceptor for a future restaurant tenant, and restrooms on levels one through four. Renovations also included the restoration of the grand staircase that had been partially removed in previous remodels. Interior finishes in the grand staircase lobby and corridors were restored, refinished and painted including wood trim, tile, terrazzo and restoration of the original wood floors. 

Spectrum's scope also included the interior renovation and minor exterior improvements of the two story masonry Building C that historically was the home to the Stockyard Saloon. Scope included repair of existing flooring, kitchen floor structural repairs, new bathrooms on level 1 and code upgrades for mechanical and electrical systems. Sewer lines were also replaced and code upgrades to the existing grease trap.
